Wow. I'm not sure where to start. I've just arrived at your Substack today and having read this (and another episode earlier), I'm blown away by your force of prose and extent of knowledge wrapped in this heady swirl of history, complete with rock lyrics. You manage to tie things together that probably shouldn't be tied but now you do, they make perfect sense. I feel I've toked a fatty and my brain just switched on the light in a room I've never been in. Or something.
That last picture of the clown reminds me of John Wayne Gacy a part time clown who was a mass murderer in Chicago killing kids and burying them in his crawl space under the house.
And, as an aside, in 1971 I had a bike exactly like the ones in the picture. Who knew banana seats and ape-hanger handlebars were gonna be symbols of the good ole days?!
Quote: "As the “pandemic” was rolled out, it appeared more and more not as a spontaneous event, but rather as a well-planned and coordinated reaction to an anticipated financial singularity event that could only be quelled using the most extreme form of monetary policy by other means."
Quote: "what if everything that went wrong for the American people was by some great inversion everything that went right for some hidden group manufacturing a future for their sole benefit?"
Quote: "The more financialized an economic system becomes, the more society depends upon the pretense of reality and becomes dependent upon the conjuring of sorcery rather than the production of real stuff. "
Have a cigar: "it was a hell of a start that could be made into a monster, if we all pulled together as a team.....ride the gravy train"
Interesting take, Ice-9! It’s true that the pathways leading to our current reality can seem surreal, and tracing those paths can reveal disturbing insights about the forces shaping our world. Our recent article explores similar ideas, analyzing how economic policies, social dynamics, and rhetoric hint at an asymmetrical war against the working class. It’s as if a hidden power is slowly conditioning society, guiding public perception while subtly undermining our foundations. Preparedness and awareness are essential tools in these unpredictable times
